I am a painter and printmaker who works in all sorts of media and enjoys the excitement that develops as paint creates shape and form and it is applied to whatever the surface. The rolling hills and valleys of north Devon, the colours textures and shapes of both Dartmoor and Exmoor have inspired my senses and lead me to represent the beauty in what I see. My work has developed more traditionally but continues to dwell on the excitement of surface and texture. I have been Head of Art and Design at several secondary Schools and Team leader for Art and Craft Tutors in Adult and Community Learning throughout Devon

I have worked as Head of Art and Design in a number of secondary schools and been team leader for art and craft tutors throughout Devon.

Working as Artist Leader of ArtTree and Artz4Life - companies devising and implimenting art projects for

all ages from primary school age to those with dementia.
